Now we venture into uncharted territory again.
What if the PRR had been more open to new ideas for super steam locomotives. Might these have been some of the results?
First, a very obviously Lima influenced super high power passenger locomotive, the K6 4-6-6.
Or, if this was found to have more power than adhesion, add another driver set, and throw in streamlining for good measure, giving the S3 4-8-6.
And, when that proved to be a very good performer, how about some non-streamlined S3a's for dual service use
Next, a Berlinerwerke creation, the T3 streamliner, oil burning, cab forward duplex drive 4-4-4-4.
And finally (for now), a duplex drive steam turbine
